- Researchers at Texas A&M University at Qatar and at College Station have developed a new and improved catalyst and method of ethylene polymerization involving a modified nickel catalyst and a biphasic reaction that has been laboratory tested to improve reaction efficiency by up to 2-3 times compared with conventional monophasic polymerization methods, and also enables the copolymerization of polar components.
