The technology relates to a bioreactor for cellulosic enzyme production with filamentous fungi. The limitation of pyridoxine in the fermentation media would lead to reduced growth. Continuous enzyme production, maintained by fungus culture, cannot go on forever and therefore, at appropriate time determined by pH of the medium, the cellular pyridoxine is replenished for further enzyme production. The filamentous fungi receive nutrients for enzyme production from a continous film flow of media. Oxygen is provided by air flowing against the media flow from the bottom to the top. A recycle system of existing enzyme solution is incorporated to increase the enzyme concentration.
