Description A method of conditionally immortalizing early hematopoietic progenitor cells from mouse bone marrow. The cells can be maintained and expanded in unlimited numbers in an undifferentiated state, or controlled and induced into various immune cell lineages. We believe this method constitutes a valuable research tool for the study of hematopoiesis and hematopoietic cells, for generating homogeneous populations of specific hematopoietic cell types for drug screening or therapy, and/or commercializing in the form of a reagent kit. The method might also be used by a licensee to generate homogeneous populations of specific hematopoietic cell types which are then sold to researchers. These uses have been covered in a pending patent application.Granted Patents or Published ApplicationsWO Patent Pub. 2013/158819Related Scientific References "Hematopoietic progenitor cell lines with myeloid and lymphoid potential;" Print version, Nature Methods, July 2013.
