Locktography Encryption Apparatus and Method
Researchers at Purdue University have developed Locktography, a suite of techniques to secretly transmit data through the digital watermarking of images. The advantage of Locktography is that traditional methods of encryption, with their inherent limitations and regulations, are no longer needed to securely exchange sensitive data. It can also be used in combination with traditional encryption to provide more secure and easily useable data transmission tools.
Data is embedded in the image itself Cannot be perceived by the human eye
