This technology fulfills a need for an easy-to-use software program that allows users to develop and animate complex chemical reactions and chemical mechanisms. The technology being developed will provide for more detailed three dimensional visualization of the chemical mechanism such as rotation, projection, translation, vibration, conformation, excitation, relaxation or any combination thereof. The continuous display of reaction mechanisms provides the user with a unique and novel depiction to aid in the user in understanding chemical reactions and their mechanisms.

*Abstract

The University of North Dakota is actively seeking companies to commercialize a dynamic, state of the art advancement in chemistry software applications. The visualization of three dimensional molecules and their subsequent interactions with substrates or other reaction compounds is very difficult for students and non-scientists to grasp. Our software allows users to develop, manipulate and animate reaction mechanisms in a completely revolutionary manner.
