总结

Ultrathin multifunctional films coated on glass and other substrates that comprise two-dimensional (2D) tungstate oxide nanosheets (TON) as building blocks. Surfaces coated in this material prevent fogging, are self-cleaning, block UV radiation and heat IR sources, whilst maintaining transparency to visible light.

详细技术说明

Tungstate oxide, a semiconductor, is exfoliated into atomically-thin 2D nanosheets. A low-cost layer-by-layer (LBL) method is then used to generate the ultrathin films, whereby the monolayered tungstate nanodots act as building blocks. The nanodots possess unique properties including super-hydrophilicity and excellent electron storage and discharging ability, which results in multiple new functions
