- PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a vibration promoting means of a surface plate in which appearance of a guitar etc. is not changed from a stringed instrument in the prior art without spoiling design, and in which special string tuning other than performance strings is not required.SOLUTION: Each string is threaded by opening through-holes in a bridge which is fixed to the surface plate of the stringed instrument, the surface plate and an inside piece. Each string is extended to inside of the surface plate and the string is turned in U shape in the same direction at a backside of the surface plate. Thereby, bending force by tension of the performance string, which is received by the surface plate acts in a canceling direction by tension of the inside string. As a result, free and rich vibration sound is generated by releasing vibration suppression of the surface plate, and natural performance sound is enjoyed while improving a sound effect. As there is no swelling and dent in the surface plate, and the inside string is not exposed, design of appearance is not spoiled. A bobbin mechanism of a facing string is not required.
