- The jamming device is incorporated within the same embodiment together with a typical automobile hydraulic jacking mechanism. Once the load has been elevated by the hydraulic jacking device to the required height (within the jacking devices operating parameters) the jack ram can be jammed in the required elevated position whilst at the same time the hydraulic pressure can be released from the hydraulic jacking mechanism, creating a jacking device and car stand/prop mechanism all in one.
