The software is for use by physicians & nurses as they treat the patient; it is point‐of‐care clinical decision support used to enhance clinical judgment & experience. The software analyzes vital sign data captured from patient monitors utilized in the hospital ICU and emergency department. The web architecture enables flexible deployment that is readily displayed on both a PC work station or tablet device. The software applications will provide physicians & nurses with actionable information about a patient’s health status in advance of current standard of care clinical indicators. The analysis of vital signs results in treatment decisions that demonstrate the potential to both: (1) save lives and (2) reduce hospital costs.

Current studies are focused on determining patient readiness for extubation from mechanical ventilation in the ICU & the risk of rapid deterioration from early infection in the emergency department.
