Online Cognitive assessment
The technology is a brain health website structured as a virtual Memory Clinic. There is a Test Centre where visitors will be able to take a scientifically-validated online cognitive screen from the privacy of their own home. The cognitive test, launching later this fall, will provide a result that ranks the individual’s cognitive performance against others with similar age, gender, education and health backgrounds. An enhanced feature of the cognitive assessment, expected to come out next year, will provide test subjects with a further report that determines if their cognitive status is normal for their age or they need to see their doctor. The website also includes Memory and Caregiver Centres that feature videos, books and other tools. An “Ask The Experts” section invites visitors to type in a question and receive an answer from a team of doctors, scientist and other professionals.
