This technology describes the use of a forward-looking Nash equilibrium in a sponsored keyword auction. Compared with a pure Nash equilibrium, the method disclosed in this application takes into account the impact of one’s bid on others’ bidding decisions and thus improves the social efficiency of keyword auction. The forward-looking Nash equilibrium reflects the existing strategies of other agents.
